Trilobes has been designing and constructing ship cargo systems for over 15 years. Our designs pass the strictest safety standards (Veritas, Germanische Lloyd, etc). Most of our designs consists of large storage (stainless steel) tanks, process equipment and electrical & IT engineering. One of the most important features of our designs is that the ship system is coupled to, and integrated with the port terminal, so that the liquids can be pumped at high speed, reducing port time.
 A unique design produced by Trilobes is modular ship tanks of 250 – 2500 Mtons. These are built onshore (including insulation, cooling) and then installed (sometimes within a week) in ships, making them part liquid tankers. So today it is possible to convert a simple dry bulk ship into a (part) liquid tanker in record time, cutting considerably idle time at shipyards. These units are also easy transferable to other ships.
